We provide First, Second, and Third Class FAA medical examinations for pilots and air traffic controllers.
Appointments can be scheduled online or by calling our office directly. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak flying seasons.
Please bring a valid government-issued ID, your FAA MedXPress confirmation number, and any relevant medical documentation.
You’ll need to create an account on the FAA MedXPress website (all pilots need is an email address!), complete your application, and bring the confirmation number to your appointment.
The exam includes a review of your medical history, vision and hearing tests, blood pressure check, and a general physical examination.
Many conditions and medications are acceptable with FAA approval. Please bring documentation from your treating physician, and we’ll guide you through the process.
It depends on the type of surgery or event. Contact us with details so we can advise you on FAA requirements and next steps.
FAA medical certificate validity varies by class and age: First-Class is valid for 12 months (6 months if over 40), Second-Class for 12 months regardless of age, and Third-Class for 60 months under 40 or 24 months if over 40.
We’ll help you understand the reason and assist with the next steps, including submitting additional documentation or working with the FAA.
